Senior System Integration Engineer

Our client is looking for a self-motivated Senior System Design and Integration Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments. Based in downtown Toronto, this role focuses on system design, integration, and project management across a range of small to large-scale projects. You'll work closely with internal and external teams including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Define system architecture and concept of operations

Lead requirements, system integration, and design efforts

Interface with cross-functional teams and external suppliers

Manage system interfaces and requirement traceability

Support testing, validation, and system configuration

Ensure compliance with standards (CMMI, CENELEC, AREMA, etc.)

Participate in design reviews and customer interactions

Qualifications

7+ years in engineering; 5+ years leading systems integration

Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles and multi-disciplinary systems

Experience with Microsoft Office, IBM DOORS, and configuration tools

Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Expertise in one or more areas

High-Speed Rail, Power Systems, EMC / EMI, Telecom, Automated Controls, Signaling Systems, or CBTC
