Key Responsibilities
Assisting in all stages of litigation, Tribunal / Board hearing matters Managing Senior Partner Calendar Managing client specific materials Opening, closing and maintaining files Keeping an up-to-date filing system Preparing, formatting and editing correspondence and legal documents Communicating with opposing counsel, clients, courts, tribunals and boards Coordinating and scheduling meetings, conference calls and Zoom calls / meetings Preparing mail and courier packages
Qualifications
Completion of a post-secondary Law Clerk Diploma or Legal Assistant Certificate program Minimum of 3 – 5 years of law office litigation support experience Strong communication skills both written and oral Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, Kofax Power PDF, Dropbox, Zoom Proficient in PC Law with both docketing and billing experience Knowledge of Worldox document management system is an asset Strong organization and prioritizing skills Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
