Vice President of Software Engineering

About the Role

You would report to the CTO and manage a team of 3 pods (10 people). It is a senior team of developers, so your role is to mentor, ensure smooth operations, and support the release of new features and products. It is a smaller team, so being hands-on from time to time is expected.

Qualifications

Relevant work experience with leading smaller development teams and proficiency in the tech stack.

• Cloud deployment and delivery, including work with Azure and Docker containers.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in a web development environment, specifically React and Material Design, delivering white-label web products for the market.
• APi integrations and microservices.
• Experience integrating AI tools in development is a big bonus.

Location

Most of the team is located in Vancouver. Currently, everyone is working remotely and occasionally meeting, but they will move to a hybrid model at some point, with the office in downtown Vancouver.
