Senior Data Analyst

Job Title : Senior Data AnalystLocation : Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)Duration : 12 MonthsJob Overview : Join our team as a Data Analytics Specialist for a complex Regulatory plan with commitments through 2027.

This role demands a hands-on individual proficient in Excel and data analysis, with excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.

The successful candidate will support our small team of resident experts by performing key data analysis, identifying anomalies, and providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities : Data Analysis and Plan Management : Develop a strong understanding of the Consent Order plan, milestone linkages, and interdependencies.

Establish a robust data analytics function to continuously review the plan for irregularities.Implement checks, balances, and controls to identify plan outliers systematically.

Proactively identify and correct data anomalies and maintain plan hygiene.Stakeholder Engagement : Address plan queries from various stakeholders, propose solutions, and drive them to conclusion.

Lead the development of analyses, compelling presentations, and meeting materials to influence stakeholders, including regulators and senior internal clients.

Collaborate with the change management team and other stakeholders to facilitate plan correction processes.Reporting & Presentation : Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, safeguarding the firm's reputation.

Establish mechanisms to store data used for analytics to support future audit and regulatory queries.Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets to identify and correct data issues.Strong analytical skills to interpret data and draw executive-friendly insights.
