Food Service Worker II (222167)

In accordance with the Mission Vision and Values and strategic directions of Vancouver Island Health Authority patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA and as such the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Under the direction of the Manager or designate plates meals for residents visitors and staff; washes and scrubs pots pans and related dish washing duties; prepares and portions therapeutic diet items including nourishments; measures and combines food and beverage ingredients by methods such as grinding blending slicing dicing and/or puree; and checks residents meals to ensure dietary accuracy.

Grade 10 plus one years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
