Job Overview :

As a Logistics Coordinator at Prime Freight Logistics, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing freight operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of shipments to our customers. This position demands a proactive approach to coordinating shipments, managing documents, and working closely with shipping agents, customers, and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate shipments for customers to ensure timely and safe delivery.
  • Manage and organize documents, including manifests and invoices, and facilitate communication between shipping agents and customers.
  • Monitor freight operations and customer satisfaction, maintaining high service standards.
  • Liaise with overseas agents, airline terminals, bonded warehouses, and trucking companies to coordinate deliveries.
  • Utilize and optimize the use of our advanced software tools and processes to provide world-class service.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and proficiency in standard office applications.
  • Dedication to providing high levels of customer service.
  • Must be able to commute to Nuns-Island, Montreal / Verdun.
