Forklift/General Labour

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Surrey, BC. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced, secure warehouse environment.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work from 3 Shift rotating schedule
• On Call every 3 weeks
• Minimum of one year Forklift experience
• Previous warehousing experience an asset
• Ability to load and unload a variety of goods/cargo from transportation shipping containers
• Ability to pick or pull cargo from warehouse and prepare it for safe transport
• Ability to communicate with coworkers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• A valid forklift ticket is required
• A positive and open personality with a “Can-Do” attitude
• Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Great work ethic – a person who takes pride in being reliable, committed and dependable
• Must be able to pass a clearance application through the Canada Border Services

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
• Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
• Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement. Process payments through a POS system
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Valid forklift certification or license
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating a forklift
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 per hour
