As part our of our goals for growth we are looking for a detail oriented  Purchaser and Inventory specialist  to assist our purchasing team.

About the Role :

This role involves the set-up and continual improvement of supply chain and vendor relationship for new products. You will work closely with our Design team to ensure smooth introduction of new products. We're a family business with big goals, where everybody is involved and teamwork is key to execution. There is no place for bureaucracy and egos.

What you will do :

• Purchasing of vehicle equipment products
• Calculation & Maintaining required stock levels of all vehicle equipment products and components balancing demand and forecasts with lean principles
• Reviewing pricing of products, strategizing on cost savings and economies of scale and negotiating with vendors accordingly
• Inspection and receiving of incoming products
• Maintaining relations with vendors and expanding vendor network
• Holding vendors accountable to product specifications and quality requirements
• Work with Production team to manage storage of inventory in organized, safe and efficient fashion
• Negotiating freight rates and programs
• Constantly on the lookout for potential improvements to processes and products
