DDSB Elementary Supply List : 2025-2026 School Year (OCT Certified)

We are accepting applications for the Certified (OCT) Elementary Occasional Roster for the 2025 / 2026 school year. The Durham District School Board acknowledges that many Indigenous Nations have longstanding relationships, both historic and modern, with the territories upon which our school board and schools are located. Today, this area is home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island. We acknowledge that the Durham Region forms a part of the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, the Mississauga Peoples and the treaty territory of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation. It is on these ancestral and treaty lands that we teach, live and learn.This statement was co-created in partnership with the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island.Occasional teachers accept assignments within our board that could last one day to several days in multiple schools. Our Occasional teachers are essential to ensure learning continues in the classrooms when staff are absent. The Occasional Roster is a great way to get to know the school communities in DDSB. When applying for any teaching position with the DDSB, please include the following : THIS POSTING IS FOR CERTIFIED (OCT) TEACHERS Ontario teaching certification and registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (enter you OCT number in your ApplyToEducation profile) and your resume Resume and cover letter Practice Teaching Reports or recent appraisal (if available) Two (2) References - names and email addresses (phone numbers if possible) or letters of at least two recent professional references (eg.
