Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Buyer role located in Calgary, Alberta. The Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing products that align with Lammle’s mission of high-quality and authentic western wear. Daily tasks include analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members to maintain product alignment with customer needs and ensuring competitive pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in buying, procurement, and inventory management
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of fashion trends, particularly within western wear or lifestyle markets
• Analytical skills for market research, trend analysis, and sales forecasting
• Proficiency in purchasing software, supply chain systems, and spreadsheet management
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
• Previous experience in retail or fashion buying is an asset
• Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
