Job Title : Software Engineer (AWS / Node / React)

Location : 100% Remote Canada

Experience : 8 Years

Rate : $60 to $70 CAD PH

Role Summary : NearSource is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (AWS / Node / React) to design and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions supporting modern water management workflows. This role focuses on backend service development distributed systems and full-stack execution while contributing to architectural decisions within enterprise-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable backend services on AWS using serverless and containerized architectures
• Develop distributed systems capable of handling high-volume and high-frequency data workflows
• Implement robust ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using modern tooling
• Develop production-grade maintainable and testable code aligned with enterprise standards
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and system-level decision-making
• Build and enhance user-facing applications using React and modern web tooling
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure scalability reliability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver product-based workflows
