The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Engineering Department as a Manager, Asset Management, Land, and Integrated Infrastructure Services.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Manager is responsible for integrating and implementing all infrastructure-related strategic and engineering business plans to ensure the long-term sustainable growth of the City of St. Albert. This role also oversees the corporate municipal infrastructure asset management portfolio, including land assets. The incumbent will coordinate with department heads, private developers, consultants, contractors, external agencies, and utility providers to ensure the development of municipal infrastructure aligns with growth objectives using sound technical and fiscal management practices.
The Manager leads the evaluation of all infrastructure opportunities supporting the City of St. Albert's council-directed growth initiatives. Additionally, the Manager provides strategic insights and implementation strategies for the sustainable management of the City's existing infrastructure assets. This position serves as the central point for integrating all infrastructure requirements and collaborates closely with operating departments.
The Manager will attend City Council and committee meetings as needed to offer information and advice on issues and opportunities related to long-range municipal infrastructure growth planning, the Off-Site Levy Framework, and the municipal land management framework.
The Manager oversees several staff members, providing direction, guidance, and feedback. This position ensures that branch staff receive the necessary training and mentorship to fulfill their responsibilities and that community services are delivered promptly and professionally.

Hours of Work
We offer a compressed bi-weekly work schedule of 72 hours, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 – 5 : 00, with a biweekly regular day off (RDO).
Please note the incumbent must be able to work extended hours to meet deadlines and urgent requirements.
Compensation
118,618 - $143,918 per annum. In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a generous and comprehensive flexible benefit package.
