We are looking for a seasoned machine learning scientist to join our team at SAP Concur todeliver world class applied AI solutions to millions of users. We solvereal-world challenges faced by SAPs global customers with scalable and robustAI-augmenteduser experiences. Tasks :

In this job you will work closely withour Concur Spend AI teamand theSpend product team todeliver real-world high user-impactAI-driven product featuresin Finance and Spend domain. Specifically you will

Explore implement experiment and evaluatethe most recentLLMs and agentic frameworks in AI field forour use cases;

Push the frontiers ofapplied AIwith real-worlddataand application.

Work with interdisciplinary teams of developers designers and business experts to develop solutions withreal measurablecustomer impact.

Help to ensure performancereliabilityand ongoing improvement of our model deliverables in continuous collaboration with development teams.

Required Skills and Experience :

Provenhands-onexperience withML / deep learning frameworksNLPLLMsand agents

Strongtrack recordinexperimentationandevaluationof ML / AI modelsLLMsand agents

Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform AWS preferred

StrongproficiencyinPython and SQL

Demonstrated ability to drive decisions using a data-driven mindset

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Experience withagentic systemsand frameworks

Experience withLLM fine-tuning distillationretrieval-augmented generation (RAG)systems groundingtechniques

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 92200 - 156800(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role which involves global interactions with SAP entities as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
