The engineer will be involved in one or all project phases (preliminary, execution, supervision). They will work autonomously or as part of a team. The engineer must demonstrate initiative and versatility. Training support and a pleasant work environment within a motivated team will be provided to help the selected candidate thrive at work.

Main Tasks :

  • Structural design of buildings in wood, concrete, steel, and masonry.
  • Design of structural glass, composite reinforcements, etc.
  • Conduct building design and drafting.
  • Prepare sketches for technicians.
  • Participate in coordination meetings.
  • Conduct site surveys.

Schedule :

  • Employment Type : Full-time, Permanent
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Job Location : Remote or Hybrid in Longueuil, QC

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered with the OIQ (ing.).
  • Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., SAP2000, SAFE), Excel, and Word.
  • Strong knowledge of structural calculations for wood, steel, and concrete.
  • Resourcefulness, autonomy, teamwork, and a good sense of humor.
  • Attention to detail, quality work standards, and strong organizational skills.

    • Assets :

  • Master’s degree in Applied Science with a specialization in structures.
  • Proficiency in MathCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD software.
  • Good communication skills in English.

    • Requirements

  • Skills required Hybrid- 2-3 days Onsite- Longueuil Permanent - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; - Registered with the OIQ (ing.); - 4+ Years of Experience as a Structural engineer - Engineering manager, Civil Engineer - Proficiency in modeling software (i.e. SAP2000, SAFE), EXCEL and WORD; - Good knowledge of wood, steel, and concrete structural calculations; - Structural glass design, composite reinforcement, etc - Resourcefulness, autonomy, team spirit, and sense of humor; - Meticulous, conscientious, and well-organized; Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
