Job descriptionTracking deliverables, to include : Coordination of building tours, including taking tour notes Quarterly reporting for Risk Management CEO CFO testing Document uploading into DMT system Processing leasing invoices Provide ongoing support and back-up to the Senior Manager, Real Estate Transactions & Lease Administration Help grow a best-in-class transaction management operation Delivers business value by leveraging qualitative and quantitative information to guide actions and make recommendations. Manages complexity by asking the right questions(s) to analyze situations and able to distinguish which facts are relevant to solving a problem. Build and maintain strong relationships; engages and influences others, working transparently and cooperatively with cross-functional teams. Executes with excellence by optimizing work processes while driving for results. Demonstrates perseverance in delivering work and problem solving – can delegate assignments and decisions appropriately. Applies industry insights and trends to drive critical initiatives and leverages quantitative and qualitative information to improve performance. Focuses on a problem’s root cause(s) and explores a variety of solutions. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments, with some supervisory oversight to review approach and results. Decisions are guided by specific objectives. 7+ years of industry experience in real estate leasing and transaction management Must have in-depth knowledge of real estate transaction process and negotiations, fee structures and best practices in real estate transactions Technology proficiency – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The Role
Reporting to the Sr. Manager Real Estate Transactions & Lease Administration, the Manager of Lease Transactions will be responsible for executing on transaction management activities for our client’s commercial buildings in a multi-city portfolio.
In this role, the Manager of Lease Transactions will collaborate with a cross functional team including external strategic partners in a consistent, coordinated response to insure clear processes and seamless execution. Responsible for the delivery of timely analysis and critical dates to align real estate with the stated business goals in each key market.
Key responsibilities :
- Transaction Management
- Negotiation of legal and business terms in real estate documents (, lease proposals, binding offers to lease, renewals, and leases)
- Preparation of ancillary and closing documents
- Executive PowerPoint slide preparation
- Prepare correspondence ( termination notices, vacate letters, approval emails)
- Tracking and coordinating site selection and milestone dates
o Critical touchpoints with SVP and RD
o Tour dates
o Lease document circulation
o Market surveys
o Tour books
o Transaction documents
o Executive approvals
o Deal status tracking
