Job Description : Electrical technicians help create, maintain and repair the electronic components and equipment used in any equipment or device that involves electricity. They work on site to keep machinery and specialty equipment running correctly.

Reporting to : Electrical Department Supervisor

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Effectively understand and be able to mark-up electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Wire control panels to Select Tool and customer standards
• Field wire machines as to schematics
• Assemble and test electrical and mechanical assemblies, with and without written instructions
• Have a working understanding of pneumatics
• Plumb machines as to schematics
• Ensure final appearance of work is acceptable
• Ability to debug own work
• Knowledge of industrial networks and automation
• Demonstrated experience in installation of electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring and piping diagrams
• Mentor Junior Electrical Technicians
• Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
• Electrical repairs required throughout facility
• Other duties as required by Select Tool Management
