JOB SUMMARY :
The Electrical Maintenance Technician (EMT) installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs Industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls
JOB TASKS :
Follows internal and provincial safety policies and standards.Reviews Work Order assignments daily, executes and documents daily activities within our ERP Maintenance systemActively participates in daily department meetingsPerforms PM and PM tasks as scheduled; generates Work Orders for items identified as requiring attention outside the PM.Reviews PM tasks and verifies that they address failure modes; recommends changes as part of continuous improvementFollows Equipment Stores’ procedures for obtaining partsContacts suppliers as appropriate for technical support and clarification for procurement of parts as requiredMaintains a clean personal workspace and work areas; participates in weekly shop cleaning scheduleMaintains assigned tools, equipment and instruments in good working orderMaintains up-to-date building and equipment documentation in Maintenance Library as well as electronicallyCommunicates with incoming shift regarding current issues to ensure proper hand-offPerforms other duties as scheduledCOMPETENCIES

Certified Industrial Electrician Red Seal ticketPREFERRED :
