The Manager, Yield Management is responsible for driving yield optimization initiatives across Manulife Bank’s portfolio, including understanding and influencing the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic yield decisions and ensuring alignment with profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in FTP methodologies, financial analysis, industry knowledge and margin optimization, and will collaborate closely with Finance and Analytics teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain robust pricing governance.
Position Responsibilities :
Lead and support yield optimization initiatives across the portfolio, supporting strategic decisions across product lines.
Influence and evolve the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework in partnership with Finance to align with profitability goals.
Analyze spread, margin, and portfolio yield, and provide actionable insights to senior collaborators.
Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to define, access, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop business cases and reporting to drive yield improvement initiatives, including ideation and execution.
Build and maintain relationships with Product, Finance, and Treasury teams while delivering ad hoc yield management analysis.
Required Qualifications :
University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, yield management, or product management.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
Proven experience with margin, spread, and portfolio yield analysis.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Analytics, and Product teams to drive profitability initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and reporting; experience with Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD
