What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Pipeline Developer to join our Art Pipeline team to help us improve artist efficiency. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting production teams and developing tools and workflows across one or more content creation disciplines.
In this role, you will
- Develop workflow tooling and automations to improve asset throughput and artist efficiency
- Work closely with other developers and stakeholders toward scalable, maintainable solutions
- Support and triage artists issues as they arise on production
- Proactively communicates questions, progress, ideas, and setbacks to project or task stakeholders
What we're looking for
3+ years experience as a Pipeline Developer, Technical Artist, or similar, working on production in games, feature animation, VFX, or related industry
in Computer Science / Engineering, or relevant industry experience, with a strong foundation in software design patterns and object oriented programming
- Experience integrating and maintaining custom tools in 3rd Party software with python and Qt
- High attention to detail, proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and an ability to multitask effectively
- Bonus for experience in one or more of the following areas : Unreal Engine, C++, USD, ShotGrid / Flow Toolkit, Adobe Substance, Motion systems, Media & Review, Deadline, DevOps
