Robert Half is seeking an experienced Technical Implementation Specialist for our Edmonton Client. As the successful Candidate for the role, you will coordinate with stakeholders in order to plan, schedule, build, implement, support and ensure quality control for software solution implementations. You will also be responsible for the installation and configuration of third-party components within hosted / remote server infrastructure and for various custom reports and documentation. This role is based in the Edmonton, Alberta region but is available for remote work permissions for eligible candidates

Job Requirements : MUST HAVES :

• 5 + years proven working success in a similar IT technical role combined with solid ability with various tools / languages
• Solid knowledge and experience in administration of Windows and Linux Server, identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting server requirements
• Excellent experience in IT related projects / computers including software installation / administration / configuration
• Working coding experience with Oracle PL / SQL and Java / JavaScript
• Strong scripting experience (Perl, shell, batch, etc.)
• Hand-on experience with creating and updating reports (Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, etc.)
• Working knowledge and experience with Middleware / Data Conversion tools is nice to have
• Self- starter with the ability to problem solve, make decisions, and prioritize solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different levels and types of users along with strong demonstrated written communication skills
• At minimum, diploma / certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience within medical / healthcare development products (or related regulated industry) is an asset
