The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible.)

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!

  • Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
  • NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification
  • Have 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a fabrication environment
  • Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexible to learn new tasks or different client expectations
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to review numerous types of documentation for errors, discrepancies and missing information
  • Your Accountabilities

  • Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
  • Record welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
  • Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
  • Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's
  • Complete Quality Control paperwork
