Position Overview :

We are hiring two junior optical engineers to assist with the design, assembly, and testing of novel quantum-enhanced LiDAR and QKD systems. This is a full-time, in-person position at a dynamic startup, offering a highly hands-on role with strong opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Optical system characterization
• Evaluation of spatial and depth resolution of LiDAR prototypes
• Testing in laboratory, simulated, and real-world conditions
• Measurement and analysis of data throughput
• Evaluation of data processing approaches for improved system performance
• Collection of test data for machine learning and machine vision projects
• Identification of sources of system performance limitations
• Alignment and assembly of optical systems
• Programming for scripted data collection and experimental automation
