Description :

This candidate will be supporting the quality investigation request requests on the challenger and global aircrafts. This individual will be receiving the QIR requests from the clients and communicating with multi-disciplinary teams (production, engineering, methods, for tech support and to investigate the issue.

Responsibilities :

Investigation : drawings, instructions, technical requirement
Go and see on the line
Start inspection with the help of Quality Inspectors
Write up a report about corrective actions to be taken
Connect with the required teams and present the cases
Follow up on the implementation of those corrective actions

Ex : The team received a photo of an damaged engine from a client with little details. The team had to contact technical support to call the client, clarify and get more information on what the issues were on the engine. Once the issue was understood, the quality analyst had to look at the drawings, where they identified that the engine was constructed wrong so they opened the necelle and worked with operations, method and engineering team to identify root cause and understand what could have caused this issue. They investigated and realized these damages are on other engines so issue came from design team. They changed the design and are now monitoring issue closely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

You have a college or university diploma in a field related to mechanics, aeronautics, structure or the equivalent.

You have at least five (5) years' experience in one of the following functions : quality, engineering, methods, production.

You are able to work with a minimum of supervision, whether telecommuting or face-to-face.

You are a team player, self-motivated, show initiative, leadership and interpersonal skills, and are able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

You have good negotiating skills and are rigorous in following up your files, and you have a knowledge of aviation regulations.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

You have good oral and written communication skills in English and French.
