Purchasing Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join their team for a contract role in Calgary, Alberta. This position supports retail procurement operations, ensuring compliance, effective vendor management, and alignment with strategic sourcing goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily procurement activities and ensure compliance.
• Resolve vendor, store, and internal escalations.
• Support strategic sourcing, cost savings, and process improvements.
• Coordinate procurement across projects and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Store Design, Construction, Logistics, and Finance.
• Prepare executive reports and analyze spend and budget data.
• Participate in vendor meetings and support contract management.
