Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in a survey crew with team leads and supervisors.
Work under the supervision of a site inspector while performing inspections of underground services, grading, roads sidewalks etc.
Assist in grading projects such as of excavations on existing and new construction projects.
Storm water management
Commercial & Industrial Projects
Work with team members to analyse survey results.
Work with CADD design and drafting projects.
Learn about project cost estimation, bidding as well as budgets & budgeting.
Work with performance and lab testing of construction materials.
Review project and shop drawings.
Work with Professional Engineers and project managers and assist in everyday project management tasks.
Infrastructure management projects
Sewer & Watermain projects
Paving & Excavating projects.
Lab testing of asphalt & concrete projects
Road rehabilitation projects
Bridge rehabilitation projects
Assist in managing asphalt construction projects.
Completing a technical diploma in civile engineering technology
Pay Range :
Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
