Our client, a nationally recognized and reputable industrial manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced, well rounded and team player to join their team. The position of an Industrial Millwright – Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and plant support equipment.

Major Responsibilities

Responsible to maintain production equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and mechanic systems and precision components (Dial Caliper)
Demeanour regular examinations on all machinery for defects and potential problems in accordance with preventative maintenance program, repairing and replacing parts as required in time specified
Solid technical understanding of maintenance practices
Fabricates and welds metal components and assemblies
Consistently work in a safe manner, environmental guidelines and procedures, also understands all applicable safety
Ensures that all work and inspections are properly documented
Strong planning, coordination and supervisory skills

Requirement

Must have Millwright certificate, with 3-5 years of related experience

Ability to understand and apply the basics of tool room equipment operation

Adhere to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures

Must be a team player with positive attitude

Must be able to work rotating shifts, some overtime required
