Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Full cycle payroll processing Manage multiple payroll runs of varying complexity, including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and tax requirements Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and provide excellent customer service Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records for auditing purposes Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices. Other payroll and human resources duties, as assigned
Skills & Attributes for Success :
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, or other relevant field PCP designation is a definite asset, but not required Minimum 2 years’ of related payroll experience is preferred General knowledge of HR, payroll, and / or basic accounting practices Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite Motivated work ethic with the desire to learn and grow Calm, professional demeanor with the ability to actively listen to others in a team environment Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
