Adecco, in partnership with our client, is currently hiring a full-time experienced HVAC Estimator to support tendering activities for commercial and institutional construction projects across Ontario. This role requires strong mechanical estimating expertise, excellent digital take-off skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and industry standards. This role requires the ability to manage multiple bids, analyze technical information, and prepare accurate, competitive estimates.

Responsibilities :
Develop precise HVAC and mechanical cost estimates using company estimating platforms.Complete digital quantity take-offs from technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.Review project scopes, contract terms, tender addenda, and submission requirements to ensure full compliance.Request, evaluate, and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to build competitive bids.Prepare comprehensive bid submissions, including scopes of work, clarifications, assumptions, and exclusions.Identify project risks, constructability factors, and potential schedule constraints that may impact cost or execution.Participate in pre-bid meetings, site assessments, and walkthroughs (company vehicle provided).Support transition from estimating to project management to ensure a seamless project launch.Qualifications :
5-10+ years of experience as an HVAC or mechanical estimator in commercial or institutional construction.Proven ability to work with digital estimating tools and computer-based cost-management systems.Strong competency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.Advanced understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation methods.Ability to juggle multiple bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation capabilities.Experience working on Ontario-based commercial and institutional construction projects.Familiarity with both union and non-union labour environments.Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or skilled trades background is considered an asset.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaHere's why you should apply :
