Location :   Various locations across Ontario

The Event Planner / Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing events that promote the organization’s mission, engage stakeholders, and generate funding. This role involves managing event logistics, budgets, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and coordinate events such as fundraisers, workshops, and community programs.
  • Develop event budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Identify and book venues, vendors, and other resources.
  • Promote events through marketing campaigns and social media.
  • Oversee event registration, attendance, and feedback collection.
  • Coordinate event-day operations, including setup and breakdown.
  • Maintain records of events and prepare reports on their success.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
