We're seeking a Data Scientist with a strong blend of AI/ML expertise and business acumen to build AI Agents that drive margin expansion and deliver financial savings for our customers. What You’ll Do

• Design and implement AI Agents to support McKesson’s pricing strategies and margin expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Pricing, Program, Sourcing, Contract Administration, Accounting, Six Sigma, Data Science, and IT.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop hypotheses, pilot solutions, and scale successful models.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to uncover market trends, process inefficiencies, and strategic opportunities.
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrate digital data assets.
• Leverage McKesson’s data infrastructure to develop next-generation models focused on customer savings.
• Create self-serve decision support tools and parametrized procedures to democratize access to complex analysis.
• Break down complex problems into scalable workstreams and socialize solutions across teams.
• Develop Python APIs for model deployment in web applications.
• Track benefits and operationalize solutions across the organization.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Proven ability to use analytics to create business value.
• Strong Python skills (3+ years) with experience in Scikit-learn and Pandas.
• Solid SQL skills (4+ years).
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms such as clustering, regression, outlier detection, deep learning, and time series analysis.
• Experience with GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web development.
• Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
• Business acumen and a passion for solving problems with data.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Preferable Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree / Graduate degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Experience in GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Web development experience is a plus.
• Strong desire and ability to use data to solve business problems.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

• Appliquer des techniques d’IA/ML pour identifier les tendances du marché, les inefficacités des processus et les opportunités stratégiques.
• Construire des pipelines de données évolutifs et intégrer des actifs numériques.
• Exploiter l’infrastructure de données de McKesson pour développer des modèles de nouvelle génération axés sur l’expansion des marges et les économies pour les clients.
• Créer des outils d’aide à la décision en libre-service et des procédures paramétrées pour démocratiser l’accès à l’analyse complexe.
• Décomposer des problèmes complexes en flux de travail évolutifs et diffuser les solutions auprès des équipes.
• Développer des API Python conviviales pour le déploiement des modèles dans des applications web.
• Suivre les bénéfices et opérationnaliser les solutions dans toute l’organisation.

Ce que vous apportez

• 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en analytique ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Capacité avérée à utiliser l’analytique pour générer de la valeur commerciale.
• Solides compétences en Python (3+ ans), avec expérience de Scikit-learn et Pandas.
• Maîtrise de SQL (4+ ans).
• Compréhension approfondie d’au moins deux algorithmes de ML : clustering, régression, détection d’anomalies, deep learning, analyse de séries temporelles, etc.
• Expérience en GenAI et IA agentique.
• Familiarité avec les API RESTful et le développement web.
• Excellentes compétences en communication : orale, écrite et présentation.
• Sens des affaires et passion pour la résolution de problèmes par les données.

Exigences minimales

• Diplome ou equivalent - typiquement requiere + 4 ans d'experience and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  

Compétences et expériences préférées

• Diplôme de licence (Bachelor of Science) / diplôme de niveau supérieur.
• 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en analytique ou domaine connexe.
• Expérience en GenAI et IA agentique.
• Expérience avec les API RESTful.
• Expérience en développement web (un plus).
• Forte motivation et capacité à résoudre des problèmes commerciaux grâce aux données.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
