Educational Assistant

Clearview Public Schools invites applications for a temporary Educational Assistant position at Stettler Elementary School. The position starts immediately and ends May 26th 2026. The position entails supporting students with special educational needs in the preschool program. The position will run Monday through Friday for 3 hours per day from 8 : 45 am to noon.

We are looking for an energetic enthusiastic and innovative individual who :

Confidently supports students with complex needs in areas such as cognition communication physical and social development while implementing teacher-directed and specialist-designed programming (e.g. OT SLP Behaviouralist).

Effectively uses positive behaviour strategies to respond to student needs including regulation and provides structured support for emotional behavioural or developmental challenges including autism and complex behaviours.

Collaborates effectively with the learning team while also taking initiative and remaining calm and confident during challenging situations.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting students with complex needs and those who hold an Educational Assistant Certificate and / or Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) certification though these are not mandatory.

Educational Assistants receive a competitive salary of $21.46 to $26.78 per hour. The successful candidate will work in a learning environment focused on student success. Visit the Careers section of our website at for information on compensation and job description.
