Your Opportunity
Our Montreal office is looking for a 4-month Co-op Student or Intern to join the Transaction Services team from September to December 2025 and own the following responsibilities :
- Perform market, industry and company research;
- Evaluate a business’ historical performance and financial projections;
- Understand key accounting policies and management control environments;
- Perform various in-depth financial analyses on companies including analyzing and understanding the sustainability of earnings and cash flows, operating working capital requirements, quality of assets and key drivers of financial performance (revenues and margins, operating expenses, etc.);
- Interpret analysis and assist in the preparation of detailed buy-side and sell-side due diligence reports;
- Undertake smaller assignments or assist on larger assignments reporting to a manager, senior manager, or a partner;
- Support various business development initiatives including pitches and proposals;
- Communicate directly with various transaction counterparties including the client, target, potential buyers, other advisors and lenders;
- Contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale; and
- Occasionally support one of our other business units in a cross-functional role (e.g., Valuations, M&A, Commercial Due Diligence, Restructuring, etc.).

Your experience and education
You are enrolled in an accounting focused post-secondary program with intention of pursuing the CPA designationYou have a strong interest in Due DiligenceYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, autonomous and able to work under pressureStrong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communications skillsSkilled in building a network and effective working relationshipsExperience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Earn your CPA Designation
