Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Superintendent is responsible to ensure that projects are completed on schedule in compliance with the contracts and the job cost estimates and all the work is completed safely to acceptable standards of quality and workmanship. The Superintendent is also responsible for the management of day-to-day operations in the yard or assigned project site. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects that make a tangible impact on the community.

Location : Must be willing to commute to various job sites within Delta and surrounding areas within BC.

What You’ll Do Here :

Oversee the installation of underground utilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local regulations

Manage daily construction operations across multiple job sites, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.

Enforce stringent safety protocols to safeguard all site personnel and comply with federal and local regulations.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including compliance with health and safety standards.

What You Bring to the Team :

Minimum 5 years of experience in civil utility construction

Proficient Computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Proven ability to oversee large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency in advanced trenching, shoring, and safe excavation methods.

Expert knowledge of pipe gradients, materials, and installation techniques crucial for underground utilities.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve high performance.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Demonstrated understanding of MMCD and OH&S regulations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and subcontractors.

Mandatory valid driver’s license.

The expected pay range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000.
