We’re looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the retail pharmacy industry.

The Registered Pharmacy Technician will play a key role in supporting pharmacists, ensuring accurate medication preparation, and contributing to a positive, patient-friendly environment.
Registered Pharmacy Technician responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory standards
- Perform final checks within the BC Registered Pharmacy Technician scope of practice
- Support blister packaging, compliance packaging, and prescription transfers
- Maintain and document accurate patient records
- Assist with third party billing and resolving insurance issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and professional standards
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other team members
- Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers in person and over the phone
- Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives
The successful candidate has:
- Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program
- Active registration with CPBC (College of Pharmacists of BC) in good standing
- Current CPR certification valid in British Columbia
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience with Kroll considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of British Columbia pharmacy legislation and regulatory requirements
Compensation and benefits:
- Hourly pay range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually, competitive within the BC market depending on experience
