Air Canada Vacations is a travel company offering vacation packages, tours, cruises and more. The French Translator - Reviser will create translations aligned with Air Canada Vacations’ brand voice and company values at every touch point, revise the work of other translators and review marketing, promotional, UX and editorial copy for multiple departments including Marketing and Ecommerce.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Revise all translations produced by other translators; provide feedback to ensure brand tone and glossary are upheld
• Oversee translation and serve as a point of contact for assigned campaigns and projects to ensure a successful launch
• Translate promotional campaigns; brainstorm with the translation team and collaborate with Marketing to maintain the brand’s tone
• Collaborate with departments across the organization : gather context and requirements, attend project meetings and ensure stakeholders’ goals are met
• Translate various communication tools such as brochures, inserts, flyers, print advertisements, newsletters and press releases
• Review marketing material, including material produced by third parties featuring the Air Canada Vacations brand
• Serve as a linguistic resource for internal teams
• Prioritize requests and translate documents from English to French and, on occasion, from French to English
• Carry out terminological and cultural research to ensure accurate translations and terminology consistency with internal and industry documents
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of translations and their compliance with Quebec language laws
• Ensure that content reflects the brand image
