The Opportunity : Dean of the Beedie School of Business
We are seeking a bold and visionary leader to join our senior academic team as the next Dean of the Beedie School of Business. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in administrative leadership roles within a research-intensive university and a research and teaching record consistent with appointment as a Full Professor at SFU. As an engaging and strategic leader, the Dean will inspire students, faculty, staff, donors, alumni, industry, and other partners to support the evolution of the School’s vision and reinforce its unique culture and community.
The Dean will champion SFU’s values of ethical and social responsibility, Indigenization, decolonization, and Truth & Reconciliation. They will have a proven record of promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive excellence. As a relationship builder, the Dean will engage meaningfully both internally and externally, ensuring SFU Beedie continues to offer leading-edge, transformative learning opportunities that develop globally minded leaders of the future.

In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this role is $300,000-$375,000 per year.
