Associated Engineering is hiring an Intermediate Civil Engineer for its Kelowna office. Join a collaborative team of civil and water resources professionals working on transportation, water resource, lineal infrastructure, stormwater management, planning studies, roadway design, site inspections, condition assessments, contract administration, and more.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Engineer and / or Project Manager.
• Prepare written technical reports including feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs, and design criteria reports.
• Prepare contract documents and construction drawings.
• Oversee and coordinate work for Civil Technologists.
• Provide support to technicians and designers to ensure deliverables are accurately prepared.
• Perform construction administration / inspection.
• Manage project tasks : communication with clients, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Coordinate sub‑consultants and other disciplines on larger projects.
• Execute projects following company standards.
• Participate in marketing strategies and business development, including site visits and emergency flood response services.
• Collaborate on water resources, infrastructure, and transportation projects across BC.
• Conduct hydrological, hydraulic analysis and watershed modelling.
• Design water management infrastructure and flood protection systems.
• Map and analyze spatial GIS data.
