Our client in the Fraser Valley has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician.

Reporting into the General Manager, duties will include

- Maintain a quality plan to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with company standards, customer requirements and current ISO 9001 & 14001 Integrated Management System.

- Complete internal audits of the Integrated Management System, assign actions to address findings and verify their completion.

- Mange the calibration of tools and equipment.

- Assist with external audits and inspections pertaining to the Quality Management System.

- Perform document control activities (drafts, revisions, issuing, etc.)

- Interpret drawings and specifications as needed

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment; Trades certificate from a recognized program and/or technical diploma required; Knowledge of equipment tools, mechanical devices, manufacturing processes used to manufacture compressor equipment; 5 years CNG Compressor and Dispenser manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent; Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and flows (e.g. Lean Manufacturing principles);Worked in an ISO 9001 quality system or equivalent; Implementation of "lean" manufacturing techniques; Experience reading shop drawings
