Overview
Reporting to the Supervisor and / or Project Manager, the Water and Wastewater Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks. The Water / Wastewater Operator will work in a team environment alongside other operators and contractors to ensure proper operation of the Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems while following all applicable regulations, legislation and procedures and the Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS).
Candidates should have a desire to learn about water and wastewater operations and be enthusiastic about upgrading their skill set by successfully obtaining high level licenses. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop a good working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and computer software applications utilized to operate and maintain the system and provide reporting. The incumbent will be required to respond to after hour calls and alarms associated with the Town’s Water and Wastewater Systems.

Minimum : $34,400.00
Upper : $55,040.00
