Senior Design Engineer

Foremost has an immediate need for a Senior Design Engineer, based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta. As a member of the engineering department you will lead challenging design projects that result in best-in-class products, destined for some of the harshest operating conditions on earth. The exposure to a variety of sophisticated mechanical, fluid power, electrical and hydraulic control systems is unsurpassed.
Accountabilities :
Design fabricated and machined products using 3D and 2D Cad to required specifications
Structural design to industry recognized standards
Powertrain design and driveline analysis
Mobile Hydraulics system design
Perform calculations that satisfy compliance and performance requirements
Detailed GD&T engineering and production documentation as needed
Provide support to sales, production and field service as needed
Troubleshooting and commissioning
Check work of others for accuracy and compliance
Supervise and Mentor Engineers and Technologists, as required
Project scheduling and estimating as required
Other duties within the scope of the position, as required
Qualifications :
Professional Mechanical Engineer
Eligible to practice in Alberta under APEGA
10+ years of experience working as a Professional Engineer and performing detailed mechanical and structural design in manufacturing facility
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
