The John B Pub and our Executive chef are looking for prep cooks / dishwasher both full-time and part time. If you are enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated, look no further.
Step into one of the city’s busiest gastro pubs and assist the executive chef and our team of individuals from all backgrounds and levels of experience to deliver high-quality, great tasting food.
We are looking for someone who has tho following :
- Proficient in basic food preparation techniques (chopping, slicing, dicing, marinating)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., food Safe certified)
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, ovens, grills)
- Experience with mise en place and maintaining prep stations
Time Management & Efficiency
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong sense of urgency and attention to detailConsistently meets prep deadlines and supports smooth kitchen operationsCleanliness & Organization
Maintains a clean and organized workstation at all timesFollows proper storage procedures and labeling practicesAssists with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as neededTeamwork & Communication
