Role Description
This is a part time, on-site role for a Medical assistant at Verismo Health Inc. in Hamilton, Canada. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position may require working evenings and weekends as needed.

Think of Verismo Health as the "behind-the-scenes" support team that makes your doctor's office run smoothly. We handle the business and operational side of running a medical clinic, which frees up doctors and nurses to focus entirely on your health. This includes finding and training staff, managing the clinic's finances and billing, and keeping medical supplies stocked at a good price. We also provide full tech support, from fixing computer issues to setting up the electronic systems that keep patient records safe. To make your visit easier, we create tools like an app that lets you check in from your own phone, and another that helps the medical team manage their tasks more efficiently. We work with all kinds of clinics, from your local family doctor and walk-ins to specialists like cardiologists and dermatologists.
