Transportation Engineer

PartnerStaffing iscurrently working with ourclient seeking ahighly skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to join theirdynamic team in Edmonton.

The successful candidate will play a keyrole in the planning design and implementation of transportationinfrastructure projects including roads highways bridges andtransitsystems.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities :

• Developand oversee transportation engineering projects from conceptualdesign through to detailed design andconstruction.
• Conductfeasibility studies impact assessments and trafficanalysis.
• Prepareengineering drawings specifications and costestimates.
• Collaboratewith clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensureproject objectives aremet.
• Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicalstaff.
• Ensurecompliance with local provincial and federal regulations andstandards.
• Participatein public consultations and stakeholder engagementprocesses.
• Preparereports presentations and documentation for clients and regulatoryagencies.
• Monitorproject progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensuresuccessful projectdelivery.

Qualifications :

• Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering or relatedfield.
• ProfessionalEngineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta or eligibility to obtainit.
• 36years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus onroad and highwaydesign.
• Proficiencyin engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and trafficanalysis tools (e.g. SYNCHROVISSIM).
• Strongunderstanding of transportation planning principles trafficengineering and geometric designstandards.
• Excellentcommunication organizational and problemsolvingskills.

3-6 years of experience in transportationengineering, with a focus on road and highway design. Proficiencyin engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and trafficanalysis tools (e.

g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM). Strong understanding oftransportation planning principles, traffic engineering, andgeometric design standards.

Excellent communication,organizational, and problem-solving skills.
