Job description

Adecco is actively seeking a highly skilled and organized HR and Training Coordinator to join our client's team in Gold River, BC. In this role, you will coordinate the delivery of post-secondary and non-credit adult programs and courses, assist with website coordination, and support employee benefits and retirement plans. This 1-year contract with possibility of extension position requires strong administrative and HR skills, along with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. A background in office administration and experience working with diverse communities, including First Nations, is preferred.

  • Pay Rate : $40 / hour.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with internal departments and external partners to plan, schedule, and ensure the successful execution of training programs.
  • Collaborate with different departments to maintain and update the organization's website and online course offerings.
  • Monitor and assist with the enrollment and management of group benefits and retirement plans for staff members.
  • Provide general office support, including filing, managing records, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with community partners, including First Nations communities, to promote training opportunities and foster collaboration.
  • Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities, making sound decisions to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Requirements :

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Administration or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience providing administrative support in a professional environment, particularly within HR and training.
  • Strong knowledge of office administration practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of First Nations communities is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (due to the remote nature of the community).
  • Clear criminal record, vulnerable sector check.
