Reporting to the VP, Global Technology Product Services, the Senior Director, Finance Portfolio Product Services will play a pivotal role in leading technology finance transformations and strategic initiatives.
The position requires a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience financial planning, analysis and business partnering, coupled with a strong understanding of technology operations.
The finance technologist will collaborate closely with C-suite executives to lead technology transformations and execute financial strategies that optimize performance, drive growth, and enhance stakeholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation : Lead the design and implementation of finance transformation initiatives within the technology division, including process improvements, system enhancements, and operational process improvements.
- Strategic Planning : Partner with C-suite executives and technology leadership to develop and execute finance technology strategies to align with industry best practices and align with corporate strategy.
- Financial Analysis : Provide insights into key performance metrics and drivers of financial performance,
- Portfolio Management : Oversee the finance technology portfolio including project budgeting, resource allocations and cost management. Evaluate and track ROI on finance transformation projects.
- Business Partnering : Serve as a trusted advisor to technology leaders, providing financial guidance and support to drive informed decision-making. Ensure Cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as commercial, manufacturing and supply chain.
- Risk management : Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities within the technology portfolio. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to the cyber security policy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Performance reporting : Present regular reporting to finance leadership highlighting key market trends and potential areas of improvements.
- Talent Development : Build and develop a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance capability of the team.
Key Accountabilities
Track utilization of products and create heat map of functions used.Ensure business cases are developed and stakeholders are accountable for value realization.Coordinate with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure design compatibility across functions.Participate in change impact assessment / identification of value realization opportunities.Engage with Vendors to assess and select new products and services, along with detailed reviews of SOW's and license agreements.Drive detailed design and solution development using core systems and bolt-on tools.Manage completion of key test preparation and execution activities.Manage the team and provide leadership in : Engage with business users to plan for User Acceptance Testing Support end user training using TTT (Train the Trainer Approach) Lead sub-process teams for respective process area. Monitor quality of deliverables / key project risks for the assigned process areaQualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a technology-focused organizationFunctional and technical knowledge on SAP S4 / HANA or SAP ECC and other supported Finance and FP&A solutions such as SAP analytics cloud and consolidations solutions such as OneStream.Strong understanding of technology operations, including software development lifecycle, cloud services, and IT infrastructureProven track record of driving finance transformations and implementing best practices in finance operations.Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and formulate actionable recommendations.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong project and change management capability to handle multiple projects (small and large) with conflicting priorities and deliver projects on time with excellence.Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and driving business results.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
