Bookkeeper

Our client, located in Elora , ON and operating within the Hospitality and Service Industry is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operations through accurate and timely daily accounting, managing payroll and monthly reconciliation reports, and year‑end support. This role will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the AR and AP team. This role is full-time and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of full‑cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and month‑end close
• Prepare and file HST returns, ensuring timely and accurate remittances
• Process (weekly, bi‑weekly, monthly) payroll and issue ROE to employees
• Complete monthly and year‑end intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare HST, WSIB, EHT returns
• Conduct daily and month end reconciliations of bank and visa statements for all affiliated companies by collecting and organizing the invoices / receipts
• Support regular financial reporting requirements in collaboration with the Accounting Manager
• Assist in managing cost and inventory control measures

Requirements

Hiring Range : $60,000‑$65,000 per year
