Relevant de la direction des services éducatifs et travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe multidisciplinaire pour soutenir les élèves ou les groupes susceptibles d’éprouver des difficultés comportementales, sociales ou d’apprentissages. The incumbent works in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to support students or groups who are likely to experience behavioral, social or learning difficulties. More specifically, the screening, evaluation and support of students with these difficulties; the identification of their needs and abilities to correct these difficulties.
As a Special Education Technician your main responsibilities are;
Collaborate with the school team in the deployment of a safe and healthy living environment.
The colleague we are looking for has :
College diploma in special education techniques or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of the various learning styles and characteristics of high school adolescents
Good understanding of the undergraduate / graduate pedagogical approach
Demonstrate autonomy
Possess teamwork and collaboration skills.
Behave as a professional and maintain a high level of discretion in handling confidential cases.
Fluency in both French and English, oral and written.
