An opportunity now exists for a talented technology leader to join the company as the Senior Director, Information Technology & Services. Reporting to the VP, Technology, the successful candidate will be responsible for service management, infrastructure and cloud, service desk, application services, and business partnership portfolios. Overseeing a team of ~40, the Senior Director will oversee the development and implementation of scalable processes, governance frameworks, and technology solutions that enable McElhanney’s ongoing growth and digital transformation. They will play a critical role in leading change and in developing and executing on the Digital and Technology Strategy and the role technology and innovation can play in the future of the company.
The ideal candidate is a technology leader with proven experience leading infrastructure, IT Service management, and vendor management functions. They will bring a proven track record leading change within a growth environment and building out best practices, processes, governance, and systems to help mature the IT function. Specific understanding of ITIL practices and service management frameworks are essential. Beyond technical expertise, McElhanney is seeking a business partner with strong communication skills, the ability to influence and build relationships across the business, and a collaborative approach to working with operations and external vendors. They should bring flexibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a dynamic, evolving environment. The successful candidate will be an exceptional people leader with the ability to build, develop and mentor a high-performing service-oriented team.

In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this role is $160,000-190,000 plus bonus and benefits but may vary based on the successful candidate.
