Role Summary
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily operation, upkeep, and technical support of assigned buildings. This role ensures that building systems operate reliably, tenant concerns are addressed promptly, and contractor activities meetpany standards.Key Responsibilities
Contractor & Tenant Oversight
Building Maintenance
- Maintain mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler rooms with proper labeling, documentation, and housekeeping.
- Ensuremon areas remain clean through coordination with contracted services.
- Perform general repairs including lighting replacement, minor fixes, and door hardware adjustments.
- Monitor and support the operation of HVAC systems.
- Perform or coordinate repairs related to windows, doors, and service rooms.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a 24 / 7 basis.
- Ensure appropriate snow removal and seasonal maintenance.
- Support preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct minor carpentry, plastering, and painting as required.
- Maintain equipment inventory and report potential hazards.
- Supervise on‑site contractors and ensurepliance with building policies.
- Monitor tenant and visitor activities to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Administrative Tasks
Document issues, corrective actions, and report them to management.Review security reports and follow up on deficiencies.Collaborate with the Tenant Coordinator through the TGR platform.Conduct monthly building inspections and submit required reports.Enforce building regulations and respond promptly to emails and phone inquiries.Manage key box inventory and ensure allpany‑issued devices are operational#HAYSYUL
