General Labourer at ALS

Join the Sample Preparation Department to work with geological mining samples, preparing them for laboratory analysis. The role involves handling bags weighing up to 50 lbs and operating machinery to pulverize samples into a fine powder.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ring, sieve, crush and split samples under direct supervision.
• Load and unload dryer ovens under supervision.
• Maintain own production logs.
• Perform general cleaning duties for basic lab cleanliness.
• Assist with layout duties / tasks.
• Use correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality.
• Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
